Maxim Jean Bouffard is a French-American actor and filmmaker from Paris, France, who grew up in Paris, Tokyo, Japan and Costa Rica. Maxim's fascination for culture and understanding human behavior eventually led him to the acting conservatory program at Rutgers University, where he graduated with his BFA.
Since then, he has produced and directed multiple films, including one that made the Official Selection at the American Pavilion, Cannes Film Festival.
Besides his main passions for theater, film and travel, Maxim is also an avid musician and has played the drums in multiple rock bands around the world.
Some notable film credits include Max in Looking Up (Big Apple Film Festival Official Selection), Mozart in Duende, and Mark in Prospect Mark (Next Generation Indie Film Festival Official Selection).
Some notable theater credits include Leontes in The Winter's Tale at The Globe Theater, Haemon in Antigone, Bobby in Sometime Child, and Prince Pretty-Man in The Rehearsal.
Maxim's other hobbies include solving the world's hardest Sudoku puzzles, hiking in the woods, and dancing alone.
